Why, hello there! June was CRAZY! We had so much fun and we owe it all to our wonderful fans! First, we had some really great shows, so thanks to everyone who came out (especially our peeps in Montana!). Second, we finished in first place in our genre on OurStage's "Artist on the Verge" contest. WOW! Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to vote and spread the word. It means so much to us and we love you all!

Few things: we posted a new slideshow video on our YouTube page, so you can look at photos of us from this past amazing year while jamming out to "These Roads" from our latest album, "Magnolia Blue." Also, we just heard that Lady Gaga (what a nutter) hit 2 million Twitter followers. Let's give her a run for her money. We're so close - we have 89... :0) ! Lastly, we still have some seriously awesome music for sale at our website and on iTunes! Hit that hotness up!!

The proximity of these two venues will allow attendees to enjoy the varied styles of music that the Crescent City is known for. After much deliberation (literally, it's been years...) we've mutually decided to perform under the more pronounceable, more self explanatory moniker "Mia Borders." In the end, it's just easier for everyone in terms of promotion and good old fashioned getting-the-word-out without any more of those "eme-what-ska who...?" debacles.

Of course, this means nothing more than a simple name change. We're the same sexy faces playing the same sexy tunes for the same sexy fans we know and love!!

With our studio-produced debut just around the corner, we figured it was best to get the word out about this as soon as possible.
